‘Cowboy’ is a magnificent boy, who has far surpassed our expectations in conformation and temperament. We are extremely lucky to have such a quality drum for our stud. Cowboy is by a stunning black and white gypsy cob, The Minstral, who has been shown and ridden successfully, and sired some beautiful foals, he is a beautiful mover with a fantastic temperament. His Dam, Southern Cross Glamour Girl is a lovely Shire mare, with wonderful temperament, and type, who has produced some stunning Shire foals to date.
Cowboy is an extremely easy horse to work with; he has a quiet gentle temperament, and is extremely willing to learn. It is very easy to spend all day mooching about with him, he is Mr. Personality, although he is quiet, he is cheeky and a lot of fun, extremely inquisitive, and certainly knows that he is beautiful! We look forward to getting him started in harness and under saddle. He has lovely movement, and a very level head. Cowboy is expecting 2 foals in 2015, and was an absolute pleasure to hand and paddock serve this season. We can’t wait to see his progeny!
