Boon is an excellent example of the Drum Horse with his versatility, elegance, and athleticism. He has an abundance of silky feather, good quality bone, charismatic expression with the typical Drum intelligence and calm temperament. His DNA is Ee Aa Tt, meaning he can throw bays, blacks, chestnuts, solids, and colored foals. He passes his beauty, movement, size, bone, feather, color and most important, temperament onto his foals. To date he has 2 fillies and one colt all with his great temperament, pretty heads, size, and Grand Champion lines.

Boon is also well trained in multiple disciplines proving how versatile this breed really is. He is trained in halter and showmanship, dressage, trail, and driving. He has won Multiple Grand Champion awards, Grand Champion Dressage, multiple ribbons in pleasure driving, and performs for the public with real drums while being steered by the riders feet, just like his ancestors in England. Because of all his accomplishments, he has been chosen as the 2012 Celebration Breyer Horse.
